We all wish we knew a guy…
…or girl for that matter…that is a “guy/girl” whom we can trust to help us with the things that we don’t know how to do for ourselves. Maybe a builder to help with home improvement, or a mechanic when our vehicle is on the fritz, an electrician when our wiring is a little off, or an interior decorator when our creativity runs dry. Maybe, just maybe, you need a “guy” to help you with your Computer, Web site, Livestream setup, or Network. One who you can trust to tell you the truth, fix your problem, and not charge you an arm and a leg in the process. I want to be that “guy” for all of your technical issues, questions, upgrades, etc.
I love to fix computers, upgrade computers, help computers talk to each other (we call that networking) and help with technical questions of all kinds, from web site building to livestream setup and production to upgrading an average PC to run the latest game or just become more functional. When it come to computers, I love to solve problems.
Why am I doing this?
This isn’t my full time job, but rather is something that I use to supplement my income, and fill in the holes in my budget that my 5 kids and 4 grandkids keep creating. Let me tell you how it all started.
In College I developed a love for computers, and tinkering with them. This was an unholy love, and I had to take steps to control the hold that my new Hobby/Addiction had over me. Since then I have, out of necessity, maintained all of my own computers and networks in addition to supporting myself for a short time as a Systems Support Technician, and also Web Designer. I love to fix things and as such, seem to be the go-to-guy for many of the people that I know when they have a problem with their computers. I love to help, and I love to figure things out, so this works out well for everyone, as long as I remember to say “no” every once in a while to keep from becoming overwhelmed.
My love of computer graphics and web design grows out of my natural love for Photography (some day I will even have a good camera:), and my need for a web presence for the various companies that I have served. I pride myself in being able to find ways to implement web designs with as little time and effort as possible, that are unique and functional.
I am also familiar with some SEO and Social Networking Tools to help your site get found, and since my full time job is in communications, I can also help you write copy that will engage your target audience.
If you have a technical question, I can probably answer it, and if I can’t, I will tell you that without charging you for my time, or wasting yours. I offer service that is personal, practical, and affordable. That’s what I’m all about!
